Happy Holidays!

2022 Year in Review

As the year ends, we like to reflect on what we’ve accomplished in the past twelve months. 2022 was a challenging year for many, with inflation on the rise, interest rate hikes, supply chain issues, and geopolitical conflict at the forefront of many minds.

Our Team

Despite the uncertainty, we still have much to be grateful for this year. We were ranked in the top 1% of “Lower Middle Market Investment Banks” by Axial. In addition to several other Axial recognitions, we sponsored Vistage Worldwide conferences online and in person.

We welcomed seven new team members aboard and expanded our presence to three major metropolitan areas in the US and Canada. Madison Brown and Ivan Trindev were promoted to Senior Associate, and Dan Nicklaus was promoted to Managing Director.

Vice President Michael Seeley received recognition as a “Top 30 Under 30” professional in the 425 Business publication.

Our Commitment to Serving Others

This year, ACT Capital Advisors’ Managing Director Chris Sheppard took our usual charity fundraising to a new level. As a former Marine Corp Officer, Chris was distraught about the refugee crisis unfolding in Ukraine. He couldn’t rest knowing he had the skill set needed to alleviate some of the pain and suffering.

Chris, with the help of donations from ACT colleagues, (and matching funds from ACT), went on two separate Ukrainian refugee relief missions in Poland. “What Chris is doing embodies the values we aspire to adhere to at ACT: the concept of servant leadership,” said ACT’s CEO Robert Hild after the first mission trip. “This is exactly what a servant leader would do – seeing a problem and stepping in without being asked to be part of the solution.” You can read more about Chris’ mission trips here.

As always, we’re grateful to our clients for working with us, and our wonderful team members. We wish you and yours joy and laughter this holiday season, and into the new year.
