Brad Bodenman serves as a Managing Director at ACT Capital Advisors. He has been a CFO, board member, or trusted advisor for multiple companies for over thirty-five years. His experience includes active involvement in numerous sectors, such as seafood, agriculture, manufacturing, industrials, retail, healthcare IT, software as a service, and music and entertainment. This broad background gives him a consultive approach to both the operations and finances involved in each transaction.
Brad has led, negotiated, and completed over sixty M&A-related transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, capitalizations, equity consolidations, mergers, and recapitalizations, with aggregate transaction dollars in the billions. He has a reputation for being a business and financial “way-maker,” demonstrating the creative ability to “find a way” to achieve the optimal outcome for the parties he represents.
Before ACT Capital Advisors, Brad was the CFO of American Seafoods Group (one of the world’s largest fishing companies), Muzak (the world’s largest background music provider – now Mood Media), and two start-up software as a service company. Brad started his career with PriceWaterhouse, a public accounting firm (now PwC). He has a BBA with double emphases in accounting and finance from Washington State University. More recently, Brad founded Paraclete Advisory Services, a consulting firm focused on middle-market companies in strategic outcomes, capital structures, restructurings, complex modeling, and accounting processes and controls.
